Archer County, Texas Agriculture Survey

To improve broadband (high-speed internet) access, adoption, and usage, our community is participating in Connected Nation's “Connected Community” program. This project will assess the current status of broadband access, adoption, and usage in our area so we can develop a Broadband Technology Action Plan to improve the quality of life and economic potential in our community.

Agriculture, in its many forms, is a critical industry and economic driver for many communities and regions. However, producers and value-added agriculture industries are generally located in the most rural areas that are often disconnected from the global economy. For operations fortunate enough to have an internet connection, their use of technology has transformed their operations and allows them to contribute to the economic activity of their communities.

This survey is designed to collect data on how local agricultural producers (crops, livestock, and others) are using the internet and related technologies. Therefore, your responses will be important to accurately represent your sector. Survey respondents should have a working knowledge of your operation’s technology use.

We do not use or share any data collected for any marketing purposes. We do not sell any information collected through these surveys. We do not share these operation-level survey findings with any internet service provider. No personally identifiable information, individual survey responses, or information that could be used to identify an operation and its survey responses are shared with any entity. No names, addresses, or operation information are shared with any outside entity without express consent.

Please submit one survey per operation. We estimate that this survey will take approximately 15 minutes to complete.
