K-12 institutions are the cornerstone of a community’s educational system. K-12 education provides students with the knowledge and opportunity to become productive members of the next generation workforce. Schools, along with libraries, have traditionally been early adopters of new technologies, not only as the subject of education, but also as tools for delivering information. The Connected assessment focuses on how internet-enabled devices and applications enhance the learning environment and provide students with opportunities beyond the classroom. Additionally, the assessment examines the use of technology that allows schools to communicate more effectively with parents, students, and the community at large.

This survey is designed to collect data on how local K-12 schools are using broadband and related technologies. Therefore, your responses are key in accurately representing your sector. Survey respondents should have a working knowledge of the school’s technology use.

Please submit one survey per school. We estimate that this survey will take approximately 15 minutes to complete.

We do not use or share any data collected for any marketing purposes. We do not sell any information collected through these surveys. We do not share the survey findings of any individual facility with any internet service provider. No personally identifiable information, individual school survey responses, or information that could be used to identify a school and its survey responses are shared with any entity. No names, addresses, or respondent information are shared with any outside entity without the express consent of the individual.
